VAN COKE KARTEL is back with their best album to date. Bloed, Sweet & Trane is a rock album, but pushes the boundaries within the genre. There are elements of punk, progressive rock and even metal on the album. “The album is a collection of songs about the realisation that love, friendship, music and playing music with others make you a part of something even if you are pretty insignificant in the greater scheme of things”, as frontman Francois van Coke puts it.
Bloed, Sweet & Trane will be available in stores nationwide as of the end of the week, but fans can listen to five tracks of the new album exclusively from Simfy Africa TODAY.
Van Coke Kartel’s Wie’s Bang was one of the Top 25 songs that Simfy Africa users listened to in the past year. The band is one of the five acts representing South Africa on this chart.
