Friday 31 August 2018 saw the release of two brand new tracks from chart-topping DJ, producer and songwriter, TIMO ODV, namely FEEL YOUR LOVE and WE GET RAVEY. This Johannesburg based musician is no stranger to commercial success: From his previous two track offering in 2017, ‘Move’ has gone platinum and ‘Your Love’ is close to being gold certified. Radio hits ‘Save Me’ and ‘Dancing Again’ have over 7 million streams each and both have gone double platinum.
After listening to more analog music, TIMO ODV wrote FEEL YOUR LOVE last year and added vocals this year, whilst WE GET RAVEY came about by having fun in the studio.
“FEEL YOUR LOVE is about feeling something for someone, but not always knowing how to express it. WE GET RAVEY is about… well, getting ravey!”
Signature TIMO ODV vocals and big bass lines with moody tones can be heard on the two new offerings. Fans can look forward to losing themselves for a few minutes while listening to the new music, which the producer still makes in his garage where he feels most comfortable.

Interview: TIMO ODV
MA: Hey dude, rad to be chatting again, you doing well?
100% thank you!
MA: How has 2018 been treating you thus far?
Very good! I am extremely busy for the 3rd year in a row, for which I’m very thankful for.
MA: Your previous releases of ‘Move’ and ‘Your Love’ did really well, reaching platinum and gold status respectively. Were you amped on the feedback and response for these tracks?
Definitely! I made them just for the club so when your club songs end up doing so well outside of the club, it’s always a surprise and a great one at that.
MA: You have recently released two new tracks, called ‘Feel Your Love’ and ‘We Get Ravey’. What are your expectations for these new tunes? Foresee them reach heights that some of your previous, chart topping, releases received?
I honestly have no expectations of any songs I make. I believe it’s a bad way to do things. I simply make the songs and if they work on the dance floor when I DJ, that’s all I can ask for.
MA: Anything else that you working on that we may be interested in hearing about?
Just more music! Hoping to finish an EP for April/May 2019.
MA: Shot for the time.
Shot for yours!
