Every now and then we get the opportunity to fill you in on what is happening in the world of Jack Parow – South Africa’s one and only Dangerous, Romantic Afrikaans Rapper. It has been one massively Jam-packed year for Mr Parow with his overseas tour, time travelling in comics and being rescued from jail by Captain Morgan and beautiful helpers, But, the guy is not yet done for 2013.  As of right now the more sensitive or younger listener is able to get himself a Super Clean – “Super Seep Skoon” copy of both of Jack Parow’s albums (Jack Parow and Eksie ou) which have been washed and rinsed to suit those who prefer their dose of Jack Parow without the swearing. Jack-Parow_Super-Seep-Skoon_webNot forgetting his die hard un-sensitive listeners Jack Parow has been hard at work putting together a brand new album titled Nag van die Lang Pette” Which will let you experience both the Romantic and Dangerous sides of Jack, The 2-disc album will feature the romantic side of him in epic acoustic collaborations with Valiant Swart, Francois van Coke, Pierre Greeff and Mr. Cat & the Jackal.  Parow cruises into a new wide-open landscape with acoustic guitars, double bass, percussion and dark Blues riffs, which is a first for South African Hip Hop.  This part of the album was produced by Justin de Nobrega and Loki Rothman.

The infamous dangerous side is represented pumping new beats and gevaaarlike collaborations that will make the old ladies scared.   Dirt Nasty, Francois van Coke, Klipwerf Boere Orkes, Rian Zietsman from Taxi Violence and PHFAT – are you excited yet?!

Nag Van Die Lang Pette will include 11 acoustic tracks, 12 electric tracks and 6 comedy skits.   Twenty nine tracks make that a whole lot of Jack Parow in one package!

Nag Van Die Lang Pette will be out on iTunes on 11th of February, 2014 and the hard copies will be on shop shelves throughout South Africa by 20 February.
