MA: Tell us about your journey to where your are today, A bit of background about each of you
G: “I have always loved House and Dance Music, listening since primary school and having older brother who was always listening to Dance and House music. I was going to Ice and Mother Raves from an early age, and followed my passion by studying Sound Engineering after leaving school. Since then Producing and DJing have been a driving force in my life, which have allowed me to open my own post production recording Studio this year. I have had the pleasure of releasing over 60 tracks on Beatport for labels like Ministry of Sound Oz, Simma, Potty Mouth, Loverush and most recently signed a track to Food Music. I have also had the honour of playing at Truth and various other clubs in JHB”
N: “I was a late bloomer only going to clubs once I was 19, with my very first club encounter being Ferry Corsten at Truth. I had always had a passion for music and felt that there was more to music than what I was hearing on the radio. I also studied Sound Engineering after leaving school because of my passion. I started out DJing at Stones Sisters of Spin and various other competitions to build up my confidence in playing. 2 years after that I was taken on by Lady Lea to join the Divas on Decks. At the beginning of 2nd year of studying Geoff and I bumped into one another at a random venue and I bought him a Jack Daniels… We have been dating since, and 3 years ago we decided that we would create a duo seeing as we were always playing together. Our very First gig as Dirty Pogo was H20 Beyond Borders in March 2010 and we have played 8 H20s since”
